Beth Lambert

Beth arrived at the Maine Department of Education in the summer of 2015 as Visual and Performing Arts Specialist where she spearheaded such initiatives as Maine Kids Rock! along with numerous professional development opportunities for Maine's visual and performing arts teachers.

In 2017, Beth was promoted to Coordinator of Secondary Education and Integrated Instruction of the Standards and Instructional Supports Team at the Maine DOE where she oversees the team content specialists who support Maine teachers. 

Beth holds a Bachelor's Degree from Lawrence University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. Prior to arriving at the Department Ms. Lambert taught performing arts and English for ten years. In addition to her years as a classroom teacher, Beth worked for Syntiro as the assistant director of the Maine State GEAR UP program and served as a research assistant at Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
